Red Square Kids Wear was founded in August 2006 with its first shop in Dronfield, Derbyshire. The website was formed along side this and then hopes of expanding the business further, came in the form of a lovely old building in the old streets named as “The Shambles” in Chesterfield town centre, Derbyshire. This second shop was opened in August 2007 just one year after opening the business. As an independent retailer, we needed a completely different approach to buying and retailing clothes, so not to be buried by the big giants on our high streets. Our approach to children’s clothes is that we do not settle for the average. We are totally dedicated to finding suppliers worldwide who understand our ethos, and with careful research, we chose products because of their uniqueness, high quality material and their inspirational qualities that just make you say “wow I want that”. Always interesting, fun and colourful our products are loved and adored. For the new season of Spring/Summer ’08, Red Square Kids Wear brings you ‘Beetlejuice’ from London which is colourful and vibrant, Pepe Jeans also of London the innovators of denim, and Pomme Framboise of Paris which offers you a feminine, elegant and a modern choice of clothing. We also will be stocking our loyal brands such as, Feu Follet of France and Whoopi of Germany. Alongside our clothing lines we have baby gifts such as bababoo, Toys from leapfrog and the Manhattan Toy Company, skip hop bags, nightlights and baby carriers including the peanut shell.
